Mansion Poker is set to unveil its new Poker Dome venture in Las Vegas, located inside the Neonopolis. The Poker Dome Challenge will include stadium seating, fast-paced poker play, and other bells and whistles designed to increase interaction with the audience.
Six players will compete within a soundproof room, with multiple cameras monitoring the action. The players will play for the $25,000 in prize money, while spectators watch the live action over twelve plasma screens. The audience will be able to see each player’s hole cards, as well as being able to monitor their chip counts and heart rates. Players will only have 15 seconds to act, speeding up the action dramatically.
The Tropicana Hotel will host the first of several events on Saturdays, until construction is complete at the Neonopolis, with FOX airing the edited version on Sundays.
